Sri Lanka Armoured Corps presented a military honour and warm greetings to the newly promoted *Major General M S Devapriya USP ndc*, during a formal ceremony held on 23 May 2023 at the Regimental Centre, Rock House Camp.
Featuring the traditional event, first, he reviewed the Guard Turnout presented by the Regimental Centre and accepted the regimental salute accorded by a Guard of Honour mounted by the Regiment.
During the troop address Major General M S Devapriya USP ndc has extended his sincere gratitude to all past and present Officers and Other Ranks of the Regiment for paving way for his today's success which was filled with many moments of experiences and happiness.
Subsequently , Major General Swarna Bothota RWP RSP VSV USP psc, the Commander, Security Forces (Jaffna) and the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps called on newly promoted Major General to his office and extended the best wishes on his achievement.
Day's proceedings were culminated with the all rank tea at Regimental Centre of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps.
