The Regimental Centre SLAC felicitated the recently promoted Senior Officers of SLAC, Brigadier T C Harasgama RSP, Brigadier A P C R Prematilaka RSP USP, Brigadier A A D P Kulathilaka USP psc, Colonel S J Samarasinghe psc, Lieutenant Colonel R S Kadigamuwa psc on 13 October 2022. Major General D B S N Bothota RWP RSP USP psc, Military Secretary and the Colonel Commandant SLAC, Brigadier W P Kariyawasam, the Centre Commandant SLAC, Brigadier M W A R C Wijesuriya RSP USP, Commander Armd Bde warmly welcomed the senior officers on their arrival at the Regimental Centre.
In keeping with military traditions all three Brigadiers were separately welcomed with a Drive-Pass at the entrance.
A courtesy call by the Colonel Commandant was held for the promoted Senior Officers at his office.
The day's event culminated with a refreshment hosted in honour of all promoted officers at the Cavalry Mess.
