Second stage of Armoured Fighting Vehicle (AFV) field firing was conducted under the guidance of the Colonel Commandant and with the supervision of Commander Armoured Brigade, at Sri Lanka Air Force field firing range - Kalpitiya on 07 and 08 October 2021. Total no of 16 Officers and 134 Other Ranks belongs to year 2015 to 2019 courses of Armour
Young Officers' course, Professional AFV Gunner Operator course and Basic Gunner Operator course participated. In this stage there were 2 x BMP MK II, 2 x BTR 80A and 2 x WMZ 551A AFVs used for the firing.
The Colonel Commandant and the Commandant, Armoured Corps Training Centre witnessed the session.
