FOUNDATION STONE FOR OFFICERS' HOLIDAY BUNGALOW AT WEERAWILA LAID

The Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps Major General A L P S Tillekerathne RWP RSP USP psc, attended the laying of the foundation stone for proposed Officers' holiday bungalow at Weerawila on 17 July. Project was initiated with the aim of enhancing the welfare of Officers of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps.

The Colonel Commandant laid the foundation stone at auspicious timing with a brief religious ritual. Commander Armoured Brigade, Brigadier M G T D Rathnasekara USP together with the Centre Commandant Regimental Centre, Brigadier M S Devapriya USP, Deputy Centre Commandant Col P N Wijesiriwardana RSP USP, Commanding Officer 4th Engineer Services Regiment Lt Col B N Wijesooriya and several Senior Officers participated the event.
