As a continuation of the customary, Armour Ladies Club provided school books and stationeries to the school children of all Officers and soldiers including killed in action, missing in action and wounded in action and also to the children of civil servants.
Under the patronage of Mrs Sheromi Liyanage the President Armour Ladies Club, more than 3600 school book packs were distributed approximately worth of Rs 3.5 million, among the all schooling children of soldiers of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps.
