Armour Ladies Club organized a Medical Camp at Armoured Corps Training Centre - Kalaththewa on 10 June 2017, for the benefit of family members of fallen war heroes living in the Anuradhapura district.
The event commenced with the paying floral tributes to fallen war heroes by their loved ones at Armour War Heroes Memorial Park.
Consultants from Teaching hospital Anuradhapura along with another seven doctors both from government and military hospitals offered free consultation and medicines for approximately 120 patients.
The president of Armour Ladies Club Mrs Sheromi Liyanage, members of Armour Ladies Club, Officers and Other Rankers of regiment were among the participants.
At the end of the Medical Camp, dry ration packs were distributed among the next of kin of fallen war heroes and offered special lunch for all participants.
