BRIGADIER R G U RAJAPAKSHA RSP psc TAKES OVER DUTIES AS THE COMMANDER ARMOURED BRIGADE

On his arrival to the Home of Armour, he was received by Lt Col W PA Kariyawasam, SO 1 Armoured Brigade and accorded with a guard turnout.A Later he was accompanied to the office and midst of religious blessings he took over the duties as the Commander Armoured Brigade from Brigadier N I De Silva RSP Centre Commandant SLAC who was over looking the duties as the Commander Armoured Brigade. After then he joined for refreshments with all officesr attended for the event and addressed all COs and Staff Officers of the Armoured Brigade.\r\n\r\nBrigadier RGU Rajapaksha RSP psc has held many vital Command, Staff and Instructor appointments during his 27 years long and illustrative career and has commanded 5 SLAC and 4 AR SLAC respectively.
