WORKSHOP FOR THE STAFF OF BEAT GROUP / CALYPSO

A workshop on music was conducted for the staff of beat groups and calypso bands of SLAC units on 26 September 2020 at the Facility Complex in Rock House Camp. The three-hours workshop was conducted by renown musical director Mr Navaratha Gamge, who is awarded with Sri Lankan honors “KALASURI" in 2017 for special contribution to the development of Sri Lankan culture, arts, cinema, drama, music, etc. and also from Japan the “BUNKAPRIZE" for special achievement as a musician. This workshop was another effort of Armour Ladies Club headed by Mrs Piumali Tillekerathne and enthusiastic members to assist the Corps members to enhance their professionalism in their own trade.

Colonel Commandant Major General ALPS Tillekerathne RWP RSP USP psc and the President of ALC Mrs Piumali Tillekerathne and number of Armour Ladies Club members were among the participants. Mrs. Dilakshi Peris, 3 SLAC Team Leader, presented the vote of thanks.
