Armour Ladies Club organized a Wheel Chair donation programme with the guidance of Mrs Samangka Fernando and sponsorship of Mrs Nimmi Dissanayake for Corporal Fernando WDLP (1 SLAC) who got wounded due to claymore attack in Mannar. The handing over ceremony was held on 11 July 2020 at the Rock House.
The Vice President of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps Ladies Club Mrs Sareeta Silva, Mrs Samangka Fernando, Team Leader of 1 SLAC Mrs Chamari Samarasinghe and Mrs Nimmi Dissanayake graced the occasion as guests. Commanding Officer, Officers and Other Rankers of 1 SLAC also were among the participants.
