The Inter Regiment Practical Rifle and Combat Shooting Competition 2022, organised by the Army Small Arms Association (ASAA) together with the Marksmanship and Sniper Training School (MSTS) at Diyatalawa, ended on 30 September 2022 and three flag rank officers of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps exceled in the competition.
Major General M K S Silva RWP RSP ndu, Commander Security Forces - Central and the President of Arbitration Committee of both shooting competitions received the certificate of participation.
Major General W W H R R V M N D K B Niyangoda RWP RSP USP ndu psc, Commandant Sri Lanka Military Academy received the certificate of participation.
Brigadier W P Kariyawasam, Centre Commandant SLAC secured the award for 'Best Flag Rank Officer' in Inter Regiment Practical Shooting competition and performed as the Match Director of both shooting competitions.
