Under the visionary leadership of Major General S W M Fernando WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc, the 1st Reconnaissance Regiment orchestrated a heartfelt farewell – a symphony of gratitude and respect – for the retiring other ranks who have dutifully served within the embrace of its command during the tenure of Lieutenant Colonel Ravindra Paragahathanthree psc.
Amidst the storied walls of Rock House Premises, 17 other ranks, each a testament to commitment and dedication, were honoured with a farewell lunch – a feast of camaraderie and memories.
As the echoes of camaraderie reverberated through the Rock House, it was not just a moment to bid adieu to the past but to welcome the endless possibilities of the future, echoing the legacy of service that defines the 1st Reconnaissance Regiment.
