The final tussle of the SLAC Inter Regiment Elle Tournament – 2024 organized by 7th (V) Regiment Sri Lanka Armoured Corps, held at Vidyartha College Thibbatuwewa - Kekirawa on 24 and 25 April 2024, pushed 3rd Armoured Regiment players to a resounding victory beating the rival, 1st Reconnaissance Regiment.
Adding importance to the finals, the Chief Guest, Colonel A H R Hasantha RSP psc, the Commandant Sri Lanka Armoured Corps Training Centre, ardently witnessed the tussle and congratulated winners and participants.
Subsequently 5th Reconnaissance Regiment was able to secure the 2nd Runner up while, Rec Lakshitha M S from 3rd Armoured Regiment was selected as the Best Elle player in the tournament.
