In celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Sri Lanka Army, the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps organized a touching community service project on September 26, 2024, at Prithipura Home in Wattala, a sanctuary for individuals with mental and physical disabilities.
The day commenced with a ‘Shramadana Campaign’, where the troops enhanced the beauty of the premises. Adding to the day’s warmth, an Entertainment Session was held while offering a delightful tea to the residents. This gesture brought smiles and joy, creating a memorable and uplifting experience for all involved.
This remarkable event not only celebrated the rich history and achievements of the Sri Lanka Army but also highlighted the profound importance of community service and giving back.
