However a long felt need of this beautiful camp has been a playground to showcase the talents of the officers and men of the Corps in the field of sports.\r\n\r\nOpening a new page in the glorious history of the Corps, present Colonel Commandant Major General Milinda Peiris has come to the forefront to fulfill this long felt need. Making this dream of all cavalrymen a reality, the ground renovation work of the Corps is swiftly under way under the supervision of Centre Commandant SLAC Brig Indunil de Silva.
