RENOVATED TROOPERS’ BILLET DECLARED OPENED AT 4 AR

Marking the final phase of improving living standards of NCO’s of the 4 Armoured Regiment, the newly renovated Troopers’ billet was declared opened by the Commanding Officer, Lt Col D P A S A Witharana psc on Saturday, 01 January 2022 during a simple ceremony. The facility was an end result of the vision of the Commanding Officer which was followed by the effort and labour of the troops of 4 Armoured Regiment.

The newly built facility will provide a separate living area for the Troopers , Lance Corporals and Corporals of the 4 Armoured Regiment and improve the infrastructure and living standards of them as it was previously in a state of a common living area shared by all the NCO’s. The event was attended by all the officers and the senior NCO’s of the regiment.
