Written By : Lt Col Anton Wijesekara RSP psc - SLAC\r\n\r\nGiving pride of place to religion and seeking protection through practicing religions,The 59th Anniversary religious activities of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps was successfully terminated today.\r\n\r\nThe Hindu religious ceremony was held at the Venkateshwara Kovil in Modara while the Muslim religious service was held at the Modara Jummah Mosque. Christian prayer service was held at St Andrews church in Modara.\r\n\r\nMany senior officers and a large number of other ranks took part in the religious activities.\r\n
