NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDER ARMOURED BRIGADE ASSUMED DUTIES

Brigadier A A D P Kulathilaka USP ndc psc, the newly appointed Commander of the Armoured Brigade, assumed his duties on Monday, 22 July 2024, at Headquarters Armoured Brigade - Rock House Camp amidst a simple ceremony.

He signed an official document, symbolizing his acceptance of new responsibilities. Addressing the troops at the auditorium, he outlined his vision for the brigade's smooth operation through coordinated teamwork and discipline, emphasizing adherence to army regulations. He further pledged to enhance and uphold the highest standards of cavalry at all times. He also expressed gratitude to past cavalrymen who contributed to raising the Corps' standards.

To conclude the day's events, the new commander toured all branches, sections, and premises of Headquarters Armored Brigade with his staff.
