The newly appointed Centre Commandant, Sri Lanka Armoured Corps, Brigadier A P C R Prematilaka RSP USP ndc assumed duties as 19th Centre Commandant of the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Armoured Corps on Wednesday, 27 December 2023 at the Rock House Camp.
The new Centre Commandant was honoured with a Guard Turnout and was warmly received at the office by Senior Officers, Officers, and Regimental Centre staff. Thereby, amid religious blessings, he officially endorsed his acceptance of the new responsibilities by signing a official document.
As a symbolic gesture, he planted a Mango sapling on the camp premises to commemorate the occasion, at the end of the days' programme.
