The final tussle of the Inter Unit Rugby Tournament 2023, played at the Rugby Ground, Rock House Camp on 11 April 2023, 5th Reconnaissance Regiment SLAC players triumphed over beating the rival, 4 Armoured Regiment SLAC.
Adding importance to the finals, the Chief Guest, Brigadier W P Kariyawasam, Commander Armoured Brigade along with Brigadier P N Wijesiriwardena RSP USP, Centre Commander SLAC enthusiastically witnessed the tussle and congratulated winners and participants. The tournament began on 10 April 2023 with 6 teams and at the end 1st Runners Up and 2nd Runners Up were secured by 4 SLAC and 1 SLAC respectively.
