Inter Unit Drill/ Pace Stick Competition - 2023 organised by the Armoured Corps Training Centre was held on 30 and 31 March 2023 at Kalaththewa. Brigadier P N Wijesiriwardena RSP USP, the Centre Commandant SLAC graced the awarding ceremony as the Chief Guest.
All the drill squads showcased their maximum skills in great enthusiasm making “Inter Unit Drill/ Pace Stick Competition - 2023” undoubtedly successful and glamorous.
Displaying tremendous overall performances, 4 SLAC Drill Squad emerged as the Champions while 1 SLAC Drill Squad secured the 1st Runners Up and 7 (V) SLAC Drill Squad secured the 2nd Runners Up in the Inter Unit Drill Competition - 2023.
Displaying outstanding performances, 7 (V) SLAC Pace Stick Squad emerged as the Champions while 6 SLAC Pace Stick Squad secured the 1st Runners Up and 5 SLAC Pace Stick Squad secured the 2nd Runners Up in the Pace Stick Competition - 2023. Captain H M H Senarathne of 4 SLAC clinched the Best Commander Award and Staff Sergeant Dissanayake D P of 7 (V) SLAC won the Best Drill Instructor Award for their outstanding performances.
