Major General M S Devapriya USP ndc, the 15th Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps, made his inaugural visit to the Armoured Corps Training Centre on 30 November 2024.
The day unfolded with a Guard Turnout, symbolic sapling planting, group photograph to capture the moment. Subsequent to the comprehensive Briefing by the Commandant of Training Centre, the Colonel Commandant delivered the Officers Address followed by a Camp Visit and Troop Address. In his impactful Troop Address, the Colonel Commandant emphasised the importance of the profession of a soldier, financial management and self-discipline.
The day's programme concluded with an interaction session and lunch at the Officers' Mess. Prior to the departure, Colonel Commandant placed a remark in the Visitors' Book.
