The foundation stone laying ceremony for construction of Commanding Officer's Chalet, for the 1st Reconnaissance Regiment took place at Rock House Camp, on 01 January 2022.
Lt Col W D S D Wickramaarachchi RWP RSP USP psc, the Commanding Officer of 1st Reconnaissance Regiment laid the foundation stone at an auspicious time amid pirith chanting by maha sanga. Construction work of the proposed Chalet is carried out by the tps from 1st Reconnaissance Regiment.
