The day's proceedings was included a Guard Turnout, a glamarous parade, and an all rank tea party, where Lieutenant Colonel R K K Paragahathanthree psc took the opportunity to address the troops, expressing his gratitude for their unwavering support during his tenure.

The day's events were also marked with a Farewell Dinner hosted in honour of the outgoing Lieutenant Colonel R K K Paragahathanthree psc by the Second in Command of the 1st Reconnaissance Regiment and all Officers at the Cavalry Mess.
