A FELLOW COMRADE WAS SHELTERED BY 4 ARMOURED REGIMENT

A new house constructed for disabled soldier, S/107816 Lance Corporal Aberathna R M of 4 AR and the key was symbolically handed over by the Colonel Commandant SLAC, Major General D B S N Bothota RWP RSP VSV USP psc on 03 April 2023 during a house warming ceremony.

The initiative of the Commanding Officer 4 AR along with the financial contributions of all the Officers and Other Ranks, a land was purchased and house was funded for construction by the "Urumayata Jeewayak" (උරුමයට ජීවයක්) organisation and Digital 400 organisation while the labour assistance and the toil was fully borne by the troops of 4 AR.

Commander Armoured Brigade, Centre Commandant SLAC, officials from "Urumayata Jeewayak" Organisation and Digital 400 and family members of the beneficiary also were present at the occasion.
