The foundation stone laying ceremony for the new pavilion and WO’s and Sergeant Mess accommodation block at Rock House camp was held under the patronage of Colonel Commandant, Major General MP Peiris RWP RSP USP ndc psc, on 26 August 2015.
The ceremony commenced with the blessings of the Maha Sanga.The Centre Commandant, Deputy Centre Commandant and the Commanding Officer 01st Reconnaissance Regiment along with the officers and other ranks of Regimental Centre and 1st Reconnaissance Regiment attended the ceremony.
