COLONEL COMMANDANT PRECIDES THE FIRST TRAINING CONFERENCE
Written By : Lt Col Anton Wijesekara RSP psc - SLAC\r\n\r\nThe Colonel Commandant of the Corps Major General Milinda Peiris presided the first training conference of his tenure as Colonel Commandant on 15 September 2014. \r\n\r\nThe Sri Lanka Armoured Corps which has produced a heap of brilliant officers to the Sri Lanka Army considers training as the most important part of the careers of all its officers and men. Hence the agenda included a list of important subjects needed to uplift the standards of the officers and men of the Corps. \r\n\r\nThe Centre Commandant SLAC, Commander Armoured Brigade and Commanding officers of SLAC regiments and Staff officers of the regimental Centre were present at the conference.
