A series of farewell events were held to honour Major General W A S R Wijedasa WWV RSP USP ndc psc and Major General K A D S K Dharmasena RWP, who gracefully retired from distinguished service in the Sri Lanka Army after completing their illustrious military careers.
As a mark of respect and appreciation for their invaluable contributions, the farewell formalities were ceremonially held at Rock House Camp on 28 October 2025, followed by a formal Dinner Night. The events reflected the deep admiration and gratitude of all officers and other ranks for the committed and dedicated service rendered by both senior officers throughout their tenures spanning over 35 years.
All ranks of the Corps extend their heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to the retiring Major Generals for a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life ahead.
