Cavalry Supercross 2014 was successfully terminated at the Cavalry motodrome at Pangolla. The event was organized and held by the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Autosports Drivers Association for the 5th consecutive year.
The Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy Admiral Jayanath Kolambage graced the occasion as the Chief guest on the invitation of the Colonel Comdt of the Armoured Corps Major General M P Peiris.
A total of 21 racing events were held during the day which included motor car and motor cycle races. Champion driver Ashan Silva was crowned the best driver while Shehan C Adhikari carried the honours of being the best rider.
