Trooper Chaturanga Dewapriya was honoured with this prestigious award at the Dialog Sri Lanka Annual Cricket Awards Ceremony held on 3rd September 2014 at the Waters Edge Colombo.\r\n\r\nThe Colonel Commandant of the SLAC, Major General M P Peiris RWP RSP USP ndc psc was present to recognise and honour this young soldier.\r\n\r\nTrooper Dewapriya achieved this feat by scoring 472 runs in six matches which included one double century and a century.
