ARMOUR SYMPOSIUM – 2022

"Armour Symposium -2022", the first ever of its kind organized by a Regiment of the Sri Lanka Army   was successfully held on 21 and 22 February 2022 at the Cavalry Mess, Rock House Camp, under the theme of "Excellence through Knowledge".  This event was a brainchild of Major General DBSN Bothota RWP RSP USP psc, the Colonel Commandant of SLAC.

This event was organized to enhance professional capabilities and competencies of Cavalry officers. The arrangements and the conduct of the event was coordinated by the staff of Armoured Brigade and Regimental Centre of SLAC with the close supervision of Brigadier W P Kariyawasam, the Centre Commandant of SLAC and Brigadier P A M Peiris RSP USP psc, the Commander Armoured Brigade.

Day 1 - Future of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps; Challenges and Prospects.

Day 2 - Maintaining Traditions and Officering.

The event was held with the participation of retired and serving senior officers of the Corps along with some senior officers from MIR. This event was a grand success and it was held with prolific lectures and productive discussions.

The Chief Guest, Keynote Speaker and all Speakers were presented with mementos by the Colonel Commandant of SLAC in appreciation of their intellectual assistance.
