Armour Ladies Club donated a newly built house to Trooper Mahindasinghe W K (3 SLAC) spending Rs 1,000,000.00 for construction works. The house warming ceremony was held on the auspicious time fallen on 14th October 2019 at their new residence, Kadanhena, Horana.
The Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and The Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps Maj General Sathyappriya Liyanage and President of the Armour Ladies Club, Mrs Sheromi Liyanage graced the occasion as Chief guests. Director Overseas Operations Brig Prathap Thillekerathna, Centre Commandant SLAC Brigadier Tharaka Rathnasekara, Senior Officers and Members of the Armour Ladies Club also were among the participants.
Armour Ladies gifted dinning table with chairs worth of Rs 40,000.00 and some other essential items required for the newly built house.
