A bid farewell has been hosted by the Armour Ladies Club to the its former President, Mrs Shirani Udawatta to appreciate the valuable service rendered to Armour Ladies Club during the period of her service from 04 september 2016 to 10 December 2016. In appreciation of her service farewell dinner has arranged at the Officers’ Mess Sri Lanka Armoured Corps on 10th December 2016.
Mrs Shirani Udawatta arrived to the venue and warmly welcomed by the new President of Armour Ladies Club,Mrs Shiromi Liyanage by offering a flower bunch, followed by a group photograph.
Afterward Executive Committee Member, Mrs Krishni Ranasinghe made the welcome speech and also intermittent entertaining features conducted by Armour Ladies added glamour to the event. Then Mrs Shiromi Liyanage made speech as new President and Mrs Shirani Udawatta thanked all members of the Armour Ladies Club for their support given to her during her tenure.
Mrs Shiromi Liyanage presented a special memento to the Mrs Shirani Udawatta in appreciation of the service rendered to uplift the Armour Ladies Club and welfare of the soldiers of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps and their families.
