The family members of fallen Armour war hero, Lance Corporal Nishshanka R W S H (6 SLAC) who Killed In Action on 31st March 1998 during the military operation in Jaffna peninsula were gifted a newly built house by the Armour Ladies Club. The Armour Ladies Club has donated 1.5 million rupees during the construction works of the house.
The house warming ceremony was held on 09th March 2017 at their new residence at Nuwara Eliya. The President of the Armour Ladies Club, Mrs Sheromi Liyanag and other 16 members of the club were take part the event. The Centre Commandant SLAC, Brig D T Gamage psc, Second in Command, 6 SLAC, Maj L R Amarasekara also participated to the event.
