ALC ANNUAL SCHOOL BOOKS DONATION PROGRAM AT 4 ARMOURED REGIMENT

In line with the Annual School Books Donation program of the Armour Ladies Club, 4 Armoured Regiment launched the school book packs donation project for the year 2024 on 06 January 2024 at the camp premises in Clappenburg.

The project for the year 2024 was conducted with the guidance and patronage of the President of Armor Ladies Club, Mrs Samangka Fernando.

A total of 368 school children of all officers, other ranks including attached personnel from other units and civilian staff of the regiment will receive book packs.

Apart from book packs, children who are attending Grade 1 in 2024 (19 kids), will receive a gift voucher worth Rs. 2000.00 from DSI to purchase any school item required.

The ceremony on 6 January 2024 took place with the participation of a cross section of school children, ORs and Civilian employees.

Mrs. Kumudini Dissanayaka, Team Leader of 4 AR and Mrs. Chathurika Nuwarawewa attended the event.
