6TH(RFT) REGIMENT SRI LANKA ARMOURED CORPS WON INTER UNIT SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP

The Inter Unit Soccer Championship was held at 4 SLAC Clapenburg camp on 1^st and 2^nd of August in glamourous expose. The Commander 221 Brigade Brigadier Priyantha Karaiyawasam graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and awarded certificates and trophies to the winners.

6^th (RFT) Regiment Sri Lanka Armoured Corps emerged as the winner while 3^rd Armoured Regiment as the runners up.

Trooper Bandaragoda BDGJA (6 SLAC) was awarded as the best player in the tournament whilst Lance Corporal Nishshanka WMP (3 SLAC) became the best goal keeper.
