The 52nd Council Meeting of Sri Lanka Armoured Corps was held at conference hall Regimental Centre on 23rd February 2016. Newly appointed Chief of Staff Army (COS) and the Colonel Commandant of the SLAC, Major General M P Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc presided the council with the presence of council members including Maj Gen Nandana Udawatta, Maj Gen Aruna Perera and other members of the council.
The council discussed many importance matters pertaining to the corps and also to uplift and enhance the Training, Admin, Logistic and special focus was given to the conduct of Motor Super Cross 2016 for the 6th time. During the council many decisions were taken to future success of the SLAC.
