5 Reconnaissance Regiment Sri Lanka Armoured Cops Constructed a New House for another Cavalry Family.

In line with the conceptual thinking of Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, the 5 Reconnaissance Regiment Sri Lanka Armoured Corps built a new house cost of Rs 1.5 million for WO I DJ Sumedha – 5 SLAC. Project was sponsored by both Army HQ and RHQ SLAC and under the supervision and efforts of the troops of 5 SLAC. As per the instructions given by Army Headquarters while strictly adhering to the methods of preventing COVID 19 pandemic situation,

Colonel Nagitha Bambaradeniya, the Senior Instructor of SCC, OCDC, Officers and Other Rankers of 5 SLAC handed over keys to the beneficiary at Wallawaya on Monday 25 Jan 2021.
