Clappenburg Premises of 4 Armoured Regiment successfully concluded an Outbound Training Programme for Undergraduates of the Department of Marketing Management, Faculty of Management Science and Commerce – University of Sri Jayewardenepura: recommencing the Training Programme after many years. Fifty-two Undergraduates took part in this five-day Outbound Training Programme manifesting their enthusiasm towards building Personality and Skills Development individually and group-wise.
Together with the guidance of Lt Col D P A S A Witharana psc, the Commanding Officer of 4 AR, a versatile training panel consisting of Officers and Other Ranks upheld the Programme from 28 Sep to 04 Oct in order to promote personal growth and leadership skills of participants by setting a variety of new challenges in demanding indoor and outdoor lectures together with adventure programs which provided experience that inspires; leadership, unity, sense of responsibility, motivation through team spirit, self-reliance by bearing up, self-confidence and compassion.
Towards the culmination of the Training Programme, exchange of Tokens of appreciation was witnessed showcasing the nexus of Civil Military Co-operation which invigorated the mutual correlation by paving the way to initiate and organise multiple Training Programmes and Workshops in days to come, resulting in grooming of efficient and accountable citizens to our mother nation.
