The 1st Reconnaissance Regiment Sri Lanka Armoured Corps marked its 68th anniversary on 10 October 2023 and a series of events were held at Rock House Camp in celebrating the anniversary.
The customary religious blessings were ordained at the Rock House Camp Temple on 09 October 2023. The main events were unfolded on 13th October with the glorious Anniversary Parade presented to the Commanding Officer Lt Col RKK Paragahathanthree psc.
1 SLAC officers, other ranks, family members of officers and other ranks attended the parade and subsequent all ranks tea, and lunch. Everyone including the children enjoyed the games, musical entertainment, and dancing events which were organised at the ground premises.
