Sri Lanka Signal Corps Seva Vanitha Branch (SLSC-SVB) Senior members headed by The President of the SLSC-SVB Mrs Sashika Herath visited the ‘Abimansala-3’, wellness resort - Pangolla recently on 23 July 2022 as the annual visit for the year 2022. They were welcomed by Colonel Aruna Wijegunawardana, Commandant of Abimansala-3. The purpose of this visit was to uplift the spirits of our differently-abled war heroes and to look in to their well-being.
The wellness resort accommodates 35 differently-abled officers/ soldiers, they are provided with rehabilitation and therapeutic care. During the visit, the inmates at the ‘Abimansala-3’ were entertained with delicious tea and gifts were presented to all inmates. Furthermore, a donation of essential equipment was gifted to the wellness resort. At last, all ladies enjoyed a musical show comprised of talented inmates.
