A series of Bodhi Pooja programmes were organized by the troops of 4 Sri Lanka Signal Corps , 9 Sri Lanka Signal Corps and School of Signals on 08 May 2021 and 09 in order to invoke blessings on Lt Col MKG Perera RSP USP who had been admitted to National hospital Colombo due to a sudden illness.
The chain of religious blessing ceremonies, held on a grand scale at the most sacred Anuradhapura ‘Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi’ precincts by 4 Sri Lanka Signal Corps, graced by the Commanding Officer of 4 Sri Lanka Signal Corps Lt Col Darshana Muthugala USP.
The blessing ceremony of 9 Sri Lanka Signal Corps was held at the temple inside the camp premises was led by the Commanding Officer Lt Col Bimal Jayashantha USP.
The Bodhi Pooja programme of School of Signals was conducted at the Temple of Sacred Tooth of Relic with the participation of all officers and the student officers of ongoing courses in School of Signals.
