CORPS OF SIGNAL BECAME CHAMPS IN THE INTER REGIMENT OUTDOOR ROWING CHAMPIONSHIPS 2019

Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) teams (male and female) won the overall championship winning 5 Gold medals (men’s team - 2 & women’s team - 3). Similarly, SLSC woman rowers won 2 Silver medals and 1 Bronze medal. The Inter Regiment Rowing Competition 2019 was held at Diyawanna Oya waters during August 22 - 23.

Brigadier N.K Wadugodapitiya, Deputy Centre Commandant, Defence Services Command and Staff College attended the inauguration and flagged off the event. The closing ceremony, headed by Major General (Retd) Ruwan Kulathunga, Head of National Intelligence got underway on the final day (23).
