SIGNALLERS\' CONTRIBUTION FOR THE \'BEGINNING OF A CHANGE\'
A Mega Exhibition \"Beginning of a Change\" was held from 27th to 30th July 2017 at the National Youth Council Premises in Maharagama. This exhibition was organized in view of the social and economic revolution resulted by introducing of Open Economy system to the country in 1977, where some ground-breaking artifacts of creative troops of the Corps of Signals added their colours to the Army\'s contribution.
Corps of Signals displayed several exhibits which played an immense role in the overall exhibition offering the viewers with products enhanced with the modern technological innovations in order to compete with the future technological challenges. Directorate of Information Technology led the way together with the 10th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps by displaying the following exhibits in the exhibition:
a. Cyber Security Simulator (Kesara Simulator).
b. Sri Lanka Army Digital Situational Awareness Map (GIS Map).
c. Weapon Simulator.
d. GPS Guided Quadcopter.
e. Throw Robot +VR.
f. Software Defined Radio (BTS).
g. Telepresence System.
h. Sri Lanka Army Microwave Network.
i. Li-Fi System.
