The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SVB-SLSC), under the guidance of its President, Mrs. Ayesha Liyanage, organized a Scholarship Awarding Ceremony in celebration of World Children’s Day. The event was dedicated to recognizing the outstanding academic achievements of the children of Corps members.
Students who excelled in the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination, GCE (O/L) Examination, and GCE (A/L) Examination in the year 2024 were felicitated with cash awards, certificates, and medals, in appreciation of their commitment and excellence in studies.
The ceremony was graced by the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps as the Chief Guest. A number of senior members of the SVB-SLSC, senior officers, and officers of the Corps also attended, adding further encouragement to the young achievers.
This meaningful initiative not only marked the celebration of World Children’s Day, but also reflected the SVB-SLSC’s continuous commitment towards promoting education, motivating young learners, and nurturing the future leaders of the nation.
