Players of Sri Lanka Signal Corps became the champions in both men and women categories in the Army Inter Regiment Table Tennis Championship held in Gymnasium of Army Physical Training School, Panagoda at 26 March 2021. Many young talented and national ranking players from all regiments took part in this event.
Signalers showed their high class performances in all events of the tournament and as a result Signalmen Priyankara YRM – 11 SLSC won the Best Player Award (Men) and Signalwomen Pitigala KN – 2(V)SLSC won Best Player Award (Women) in this encounter.
Major General LPR Premalal USP, Commander Logistic Command and Colonel Commandant – Sri Lanka Corps of Military Police witness to the final encounter of the tournament as the Chief Guest. Major General PAJ Peiris ndu, Chief Signal Officer Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant Sri Lanka Signal Corps and Major Genral JDGC Jayasinghe KSV KSP, Deputy Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and many senior officers and officers participated for the final encounter.
