Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) bid a farewell to its outgoing Major General KMRP Karunathilake psc on Thursday (26) on his retirement after having counted an illustrious service of more than 34 years in the Sri Lanka Army.
The ceremony formally held in keeping with military traditions at the SLSC Regimental Headquarters premises in Panagoda.
The program of events commenced with the ceremonial Guard Turnout, followed by the Guard of Honour with the participation of SLSC troops.
The event followed with paying obeisance to the fallen SLSC war heroes at the Regimental Monument and also included with a tea party at the Officers’ Mess.
The event culminated with a ‘Dinner Night’ hosted by Officers of the Regimental Officers’ Mess.
