The formal sit-down Mess Night of the Signal Officers to celebrate the 74th Anniversary of the Corps of Signals was held at 1930 hrs onward at the Signal Regimental Officers\' Mess in Panagoda on 19 October 2017.
Colonel Commandant Major General B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and over 200 serving officers including Commander of the Forward Maintenance Area (North Central) Brigadier N M Hettiarachchi USP psc Hdmc and the respected ladies of the officers participated the event.
