OFFICERS AND STAFF OF ARTRAC VISIT 7 SLSC TO GATHER KNOWLEDGE ON SYSTEMATICAL FUNCTIONS AND CAMP LAYOUT

Brigadier WASR Wijedasa WWV RSP USP psc, Brigadier (Strategic & Doctrine) of Army Training Command along with his staff officers and other ranks visited 7th Regiment Sri Lanka Signals Corps on 07 December 2020 during a study tour.

This visit was conducted by the ARTRAC staff considering 7th Regiment Sri Lanka Signals Corps as a perfect model for camp due to its good conduct and maintenance. Explaining the reasons for selecting 7 SLSC for this visit Brigadier (Strategic & Doctrine) briefed that the uniqueness of the modus of operandi of the unit and the exemplary positive thinking approach of the troops as the main reasons for choosing 7 SLSC for this visit.

Initially Adjutant - 7 SLSC, Capt WDS Ranasinghe briefly explained and guided senior officers and other participants of the visit to witness the systematical functions of the unit. Then Commanding Officer - 7 SLSC, Lieutenant Colonel MR Hameem USP SLSC joined to the briefing and described the importance of maintaining standards and functioning according to a set plan and noted that it was the success behind its recognition in the AOR.

Finally Commanding Officer - 7 SLSC thanked all the senior officers and other participants for selecting 7 SLSC for this visit and visiting the camp for gaining knowledge.
