NATIONAL ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIP – 2021

Signalmen Wejesiri HASL is belongs to Corps of Signals and two other competitors from other Regts have entered the 70m Recurve of the men team event of the National Archery Championships on 20 & 21 December 2021 at Isuru Dewapriya Ground Pitakotte, assuring the Sri Lanka Army of Gold medal for team event.

Furthermore, Signalmen Wejesiri HASL has secured the overall 8^th place out of 107 competitors and evaluating of his marks obtained he has been selected for the National Team. The Sri Lanka Army, Navy, Air Force, Police and other civil teams were participated for the deferent events as compound men, women and recurve mixed team events for National Archery Championship - 2021.

S/279415 Signalman Wijesiri HASL completed his education in Welimada Ambagas Doova Sumana Jothi Maha Vidyalaya and he joined the Sri Lanka Army on 06^th - January 2004 as a Soldier and belongs to 11^th Sri Lanka Signal Corps.
