Inter-Unit Athletic Meet – 2022 of Sri Lanka Signal Corps commenced on 01 September 2022 at the public ground Anuradhapura with the participation of 100 plus athletes representing their respective units at variety of track and field events.
Following close tussles throughout two days, athletes of the 7th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps clinched the championship trophy as the overall winners while 2nd place was won by athletes of 9th Regiment Lanka Signal Corps, and two 3rd places were secured by 3rd and 4th Regiment Sri Lanka signal corps respectively.
The Chief Guest, Brigadier AP Wickramasekara USP psc expressed his well wishes and congratulated all winners, and distributed trophies and medals among them. Colonel Coordinating 21 Infantry Division (Volunteer), Colonel HWKS Wadugoda associated with awarding and closing ceremonies.
